Responsibilities

Assist in the design and modification of tooling components using SolidWorks

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to refine molded fiber tooling for optimal performance

Help organize and maintain CAD file structures and documentation for tooling projects

Support prototyping and testing efforts as needed

Support equipment assembly and mechanical modifications as needed

Refine your Solidworks skills by modifying assemblies and creating 2D prints

Learn about the real-world behavior and uses of various tooling materials

Learn about molded fiber technology and how it is used as a sustainable packaging material

Qualification

SolidWorks3D CAD softwareManufacturing processesBasic hand toolsMeasuring devicesSustainable materialsPackaging designAttention to detailOrganizational skills

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software

Ability to convert 3D models into 2D prints

Basic understanding of manufacturing processes

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Experience using basic hand tools and measuring devices

Preferred

Interest in sustainable materials, paper manufacturing, and packaging design is a plus
