Strategic Account Manager

Responsibilities
Represent Rockwell Automation's full portfolio of products and services, continuously building expertise in customer-critical areas
Engage with senior and executive leaders, demonstrating clear economic value tied to business drivers, KPIs, and competitive advantages
Drive growth through collaboration and indirect leadership of extended teams, balancing efforts across multiple customer levels
Build trust-based, strategic relationships with key sponsors, formalizing expectations and creating growth strategies for all products and services globally
Quickly qualify opportunities to focus resources on high-potential activities
Ensure the Strategic Account has access to all Rockwell Automation resources by developing strong internal partnerships across product groups and global teams
Participate in customer planning and implementation teams to provide early input and recommend strategies that deliver mutual benefit
Identify new growth opportunities across products and services for shared success
Develop and communicate an annual Strategic Account plan in coordination with global sales and support teams, tracking progress throughout the year
Expand Rockwell Automation's global presence and ensure consistent delivery across regions
Travel as needed to communicate objectives, engage extended teams, and pursue global growth opportunities
Define and share mutually agreed success stories as industry references to support global selling efforts
Model executive-level sales presence and mentor colleagues when appropriate
Apply company policies and procedures in compliance with legal, safety, quality, and environmental standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of work experience
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
Ability to travel domestically and internationally 50% of time
A valid drivers license
Preferred
Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline
Typically requires 5+ years of experience in technical sales, industrial distribution, systems integration or an engineering firm, or graduate of the Rockwell Automation Sales Training Program
Experience managing global accounts
Applied experience in one or more areas related to selling control/information solutions into our target industries
Experience selling at the senior management and executive levels, and convey Rockwell Automation's products and services in a manner which demonstrate tangible economic value
