Responsibilities

Responsible for the development and verification of flightworthy safety critical electronic circuit cards, FPGAs, and related test equipment
Will work closely with embedded software engineers, mechanical engineers, specialty engineering, and test engineers integrating the software, hardware, and test stations
May also develop automated test capabilities enabling hardware and software verification
Responsible for leading development of electronic hardware architecture, circuit design, layout and mask design, device evaluation and characterization, test box design, prototype construction and checkout
Prepares test methods and specifications
Analyzes equipment to establish operating data and conducts experimental tests
Qualifies hardware against requirements
Authors design documentation, test reports, technical analysis
Provides finished device approval and prepares qualification documentation
Leads and develops a team accomplishing these responsibilities
Improves team processes and toolsets
May provides consultation to struggling LM Aero electronic hardware suppliers to improve project performance and resolve technical issues
Help LM Aero develop fully qualified flightworthy electronics at a greatly reduced cost and schedule enabling company to meet increasing customer demands to keep up with adversaries

Must be a US Citizen
