Yazaki North America is a global leader in the research, development, and delivery of vehicle power and data solutions. They are seeking a motivated Intern in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering to support engineering tasks and collaborate with FBU Engineers and Supervisors.

Responsibilities

Support P736 engineering tasks like special mock-up’s with customer, validations, reworks and Component registration for current and future programs

On time creation of Component Registration work orders, Wire Harness drawing checks

Work closely with FBU Engineers, Supervisors and Principal engineers

Qualification

Mechanical EngineeringElectrical EngineeringAnalytical SkillsProblem SolvingMicrosoft VisioCommunication SkillsWriting Skills

Required

Enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited institution during the internship period

Degree/experience related to the position Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering

Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks between May 11, 2026, and August 14, 2026

Strong communication and writing skills

Problem solving skills, analytical skills

Ability to identify and assess problems

Experience using Microsoft Visio or any program to create Process diagrams

Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities

Preferred

Previous experience in Writing Methods, Work Instructions or Processes
