Responsibilities

Become an expert in Ryzer’s software platform so you can show prospects the value of our solutions
Generate new business through prospecting, cold calling, and personalized outreach to college coaches and other decision-makers
Work closely with Marketing and Revenue Operations to execute sales strategies and constantly refine the process from initial outreach to demo to pricing to close
Effectively transition new accounts to the Customer Success team
Embrace continuing education and ongoing feedback to constantly improve your craft
Conduct conversational product demos for prospective customers, serving as a trusted, knowledgeable resource
Thoroughly and efficiently use our technology stack (i.e. HubSpot) to manage pipeline activity, track metrics, and identify opportunities for improvement
Be a positive contributor to the company culture and the experience of your peers

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
2-5 years of demonstrated success in a sales role
Proven ability to build new business from the ground up through cold outreach and relationship development
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tailor solutions to unique customer needs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams
Highly motivated, with a proactive and self-driven approach to achieving sales goals
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving company that will experience major internal change and growth every year

Preferred

Preference for experience in consultative selling environment as a BDR/MDR/SDR in a lead generation and/or as an AE in a closing role
Experience working with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product or in the technology or data industries is a plus
