Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deliver custom software and FPGA-based solutions for advanced test and measurement applications
Build automation frameworks, instrument control layers, and data processing tools across Keysight platforms
Collaborate with customers and cross-functional engineering teams (hardware, FPGA, firmware, RF, and systems) to define requirements and propose scalable, maintainable solutions
Debug and optimize FPGA designs using VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog; stay current with FPGA technologies, tools, and best practices
Contribute to technical documentation, solution proposals, and Statements of Work (SOWs) to support project delivery and commissioning
Seek out and take initiative on opportunities to continuously improve processes, best practices, and enhance customer experience
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field
Hands-on experience with FPGA design and software programming; familiarity with toolchains (Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus)
Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, and scripting languages; experience with version control (Git)
Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (C, C++, C#, Python, Perl, MATLAB)
Familiarity with HDL languages (VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog)
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated, curious, and comfortable working in dynamic environments with limited direction
Ability to present technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
Commitment to quality and excellent attention to details
Preferred
Familiarity with Keysight TAP, SCPI and LabView programming, or automation interfaces (IVI, VISA, PyVISA) is a plus
Experience/understanding of electronic test, measurement concepts and engineering tools is desirable
Understanding of RF and Digital test systems and technologies is desirable
