Analyze manufacturing problems and develop alternative approaches to their solution
Evaluate solutions for efficiency and cost effectiveness
Maintain practical knowledge of operating systems and mechanical equipment throughout the plant
Seek to improve manufacturing processes by developing awareness of state-of-the-art in mechanical technology
Keep supervisor informed of the status of assigned projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree (Engineering focused)
3+ years of relevant experience
Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and, TS16949 standards
Good personal computer skills and project management skills
A basic working knowledge in statistical methods, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Project Management and APQP
Preferred
Past history of successful product launch activity is a plus
Previous work experience in processing aluminum as it applies to welding, vacuum brazing, CAB brazing, and press room operations
