Responsibilities

Support the development, upkeep, and documentation of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) artifacts for Electro-Optical designs using the CAMEO Suite throughout the product lifecycle—from concept through deployment
Help define system architecture, interfaces, and requirements; ensure traceability of those elements; and translate model data into clear, actionable deliverables (Word, Excel, diagrams) that serve as the primary communication medium for cross functional teams
Provide peer level assistance and mentorship on model usage and best practices
Lead and assist a team in getting an unclassified Teamwork Cloud instantiation up and running for a few different efforts

Required

Experience with electro-optics and/or lasers
Understanding of system architecture, interface control, and requirements traceability
Experience integrating optical subsystems and/or components to meet systems and/or subsystem requirements
Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI w/Poly clearance

Preferred

Demonstrated teamwork and the ability to work effectively with multi disciplinary groups
Engineering Degree in Optical, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Aerospace or related discipline
Experience developing or working on optical payloads
Experience developing or working on space programs
Experience as a CPE and/or RSE
Experience with Cameo or MBSE Modeling
Experience with products that include Software and Circuitware Development and Integration
Experience defining system-level architecture
Experience defining Design Reference Missions (DRMs)
Aptitude for writing top-level system requirements with little definition or guidance
Experience in Class C/D, IRAD, or 'go-fast' development environment
Experience making quick decisions with little information
Experience determining where the risks lie and where the focus of the team should be, and working with the team to maintain that focus
Experience identifying risks and working with the team to set priorities and stay focused on the most important objectives related to burning down the risks
Experience leading or interfacing with medium to large subcontracts (i.e. Antenna development or Bus Supplier)
Experience across all program lifecycles on large and small programs, from initial development through post-launch support and mission operations
