The successful candidate will engage in planning, designing, and facilitating civil engineering project tasks while collaborating with professionals and clients to ensure project requirements are met.

Responsibilities
Plans, designs, and facilitates civil engineer project design tasks
Undertakes technical and feasibility studies
Collaborates with other professionals and discusses requirements with clients
Uses computer programs to develop detailed designs
Ensures that work product meets client, environmental, and safety requirements
Performs work under professional engineering staff
Handles basic design challenges and uses problem-solving skills but will refer more complex issues to higher-level staff
Possesses beginning knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and civil engineering design tasks
Oral and written communication skills and strong team collaboration are required
This position requires local/regional travel and should be expected to be 20-40% (1-2 days per week as needed for project-related work/occasional overnight travel)
Collects data and gathers information or documents
Participates in laboratory testing and field investigations
Performs basic computations or analysis
Assists with preparation of engineering deliverables
Observes construction activities
Responsible for personal task management and adherence to deadlines and scope
Receives close supervision on all aspects of assignments
Attains mentored experience from a licensed engineer
Possesses basic oral and written communication skills
Identifies and acknowledges principles of teamwork and leadership
Interacts primarily with internal project team members
Qualification
Required
Bachelors or better in Civil Engineering or related field
Related experience
Driver's License
Preferred
AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
