DSP Engineer (Starshield)

Responsibilities

Drive program-level decisions on firmware and software designs
Research novel solutions for large-scale RF systems
Design and test algorithms for on-orbit and ground-based data processing
Work in close collaboration with FPGA, RF/antenna, and software engineers to design and validate RF systems
Perform on-orbit demonstrations and testing

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or electrical engineering and 1+ years of experience in digital signal processing engineering; or 3+ years of professional digital signal processing engineering experience in lieu of a degree
1+ years of experience in system-level modeling and/or digital signal processing
This position requires successfully obtaining and maintaining a Top Secret Security Clearance as a condition of employment
Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Preferred

Developed and deployed software that has been used in real-world applications and projects
Knowledge of computer architecture and networks
Experience with debugging, performance optimization and unit testing
Ability to work effectively and creatively in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements
Ability to work independently and in a team, take initiative, and communicate effectively
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret or Top Secret SCI clearance
