Responsibilities
This position requires a candidate that can operate in an ambiguous environment
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in multiple engineering disciplines
This role will interface closely with System Engineers, Hardware Development Engineers, and Software Development Engineers across a broad range of technical areas to enable software configuration management mechanisms
This person will be required to articulate when gaps are identified, and propose solutions quickly
The ideal candidate will have a balance of breadth across engineering disciplines, depth and expertise in select areas, and practical real-life experience with configuration management of complex systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical degree or related experience
3+ years of experience in software configuration management/control
Experience working within Aerospace Regulatory Environments
Preferred
MS degree in computer science or electrical engineering
A strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional, projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
Experience building frameworks for creating complex applications with simplified tools
Experience with DO-178C Software Configuration Management
