Responsibilities
Lead and manage all phases of heavy civil construction projects, from pre-construction through closeout
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans
Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and self-performed work to ensure quality and performance standards are met
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Coordinate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to resolve technical and logistical challenges
Manage contract administration, including change orders, RFIs, submittals, and payment applications
Identify and mitigate project risks to maintain progress and profitability
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, government agencies, and project stakeholders
Lead project team meetings and foster collaboration among all disciplines
Ensure accurate project documentation and reporting
Qualification
Required

Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager on heavy civil or public works projects
Demonstrated success managing transportation, water/wastewater, or infrastructure projects
Proven experience in scheduling and cost/budget management
Proficiency with Primavera P6, Procore, Bluebeam, and related project management tools
Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities
Willingness to travel to job sites as needed
