Responsibilities
Daily On-Site Attendance
Develop and maintain manufacturing processes to support production efficiency, product quality, and safety
Analyze production workflows and recommend improvements to reduce waste, cost, and lead time
Create and maintain accurate work instructions, routings, and standard operating procedures
Collaborate with Design Engineering to ensure manufacturability of new and existing products
Provide hands-on support to resolve technical and production issues in a timely manner
Lead or support continuous improvement projects utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies
Assist in specifying and implementing tools, fixtures, and equipment to enhance production capabilities
Monitor production data and metrics to identify performance trends and improvement opportunities
Train production staff on new processes, tools, and best practices
Ensure compliance with internal standards, safety regulations, and quality systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field required
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role required
Proficiency in CAD software and experience with ERP systems required
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles required

Preferred
Experience in electrical transformer or heavy equipment manufacturing
Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or higher)
Familiarity with welding, brazing, and electrical assembly processes
