CCLA - Head of Content
LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games is the organizing committee for the Los Angeles 2028 Games, aiming to create an unparalleled experience for athletes and fans. The Head of Content will support the development of long-form storytelling and coordinate communication among various stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment throughout the creative process.

Responsibilities
Contribute to the development of LA28’s long-form storytelling approach by participating in discussions, helping track ideas, and supporting alignment across teams
Support communication between stakeholders, helping ensure information, expectations, and deliverables are clearly understood
Serve as a reliable point of contact for external partners, helping verify details, track inputs, and surface questions or risks to the Head of Ceremonies & Content
Assist with coordination across creative development, production considerations, and distribution planning as the strategy becomes more defined
Support documentation, meeting flow, and follow-through, so teams have what they need to move forward with confidence
Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative workflow by helping remove ambiguity and creating space for diverse creative perspectives
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in film, television, or documentary production, with deep involvement in creative development, production processes, and delivery of major content projects
Participation in early-stage conversations that explore narrative directions, thematic possibilities, and long-form storytelling approaches relevant to LA28
Engagement with external collaborators as a consistent and trusted point of contact, helping verify details and facilitate shared understanding across stakeholders
Familiarity with content development processes and the ability to support the flow of creative and logistical information
Strong communication and relationship-building skills to operate effectively with both internal teams and external partners
Comfort working in evolving, high-visibility environments where priorities and structures may shift
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
Preferred
Experience with global cultural/sport events/properties or large-scale storytelling initiatives is beneficial but not required
