Responsibilities

Collaborate with teams of engineers and architects to complete project deliverables
Coordinate design work with other engineering and architectural disciplines
Meet client expectations for budget and schedule while delivering a quality product
Increase proficiency in relevant design, modeling, and analysis software applications such as Revit, ETABS, RISA, RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, RAM Concept, Enercalc, Excel, SteelSmart, and Simpson CFS Designer
Increase your knowledge of local codes and industry standards
Assist with budget estimates and write-ups for proposals

Qualification

EIT certificationProfessional Engineering licenseStructural engineering designETABSRevit experienceBuilding codesSeismic evaluations experienceClient managementBudgeting skillsTeam collaboration

Required

B.S. Degree in Civil, Structural Engineering
EIT certification is a must
3+ years of relevant structural engineering design experience (Concrete, Steel, Masonry, Wood)
Knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction practices specific to high-seismic regions
Technical skills: Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., ETABS, RISA, RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, RAM Concept, Enercalc, Excel)
Experience assembling calculation packages for submittal to agencies (DSA and HCAI a plus)

Preferred

M.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering
Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus
Revit experience including modeling and producing construction drawings is preferred
Experience with seismic evaluations and retrofits per ASCE 41 a plus
