Responsibilities
Work with both existing and new vendors to ensure alignment with quality, capacity, and productivity expectations
Develop and implement sourcing strategies to identify and qualify suppliers for a wide range of materials and services
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable terms
Track global and domestic trends in key commodities, including commodity index tracking, regulatory impacts, and sustainability factors
Identify and qualify alternative suppliers to enhance supply chain flexibility and resilience
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and mutual success
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical sourcing standards, and environmental regulations
Analyze procurement data and metrics to measure performance, identify improvement areas, and report on sourcing KPIs
Qualification
Required
Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing principles and procurement best practices
Commodity Market insight
Understanding of Regulatory and Sustainability issues
Demonstrated experience in negotiating and managing supplier contracts
Proficiency in using procurement software and tools to manage sourcing activities efficiently
