Vice President, Business Development, Distributed - Dynamic Energy
Dynamic Energy is on a mission to decarbonize the grid by expanding distributed renewable energy across the U.S. The Vice President of Business Development will drive growth by leading customer acquisition, negotiating energy deals, and managing key accounts to achieve revenue and margin targets.

Responsibilities
Identify and prioritize new markets, products, and partnerships to expand our distributed generation portfolio
Lead sales teams to drive customer acquisition, close deals, and manage project financing
Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers for long-term contracts
Champion adoption of AI and digital tools for lead generation and proposal management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field
7–10 years in distributed generation, renewable energy, or utility-scale project development, with 5+ years in business development or commercial leadership
Proven success leading multi-state sales teams and managing complex negotiations in DER
Deep knowledge of solar and battery storage development, interconnection, permitting, and PPA structuring
Familiarity with AI, data analytics, CRM tools, and strong financial acumen
Preferred
Master's degree (MBA) and experience scaling commercial operations or managing a national sales organization
