Entry Level Water Resources Engineer

They are seeking an Entry Level Water Resources Engineer to join their Colorado Water Resources team, where the candidate will work on various water-related projects, including hydrologic modeling and stormwater design.

Responsibilities
Work with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver successful projects
Work on hydrologic and 1D/2D hydraulic modeling, stormwater conveyance design, floodplain modeling and mapping, river and ecosystem restoration, dams, reservoirs, and many other water-related projects
Support business development efforts and help in the pursuit of new projects
Work directly with clients on the projects and tasks that they are leading to develop long-term client relationships
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or related engineering discipline from an ABET accredited University program
Interest in and understanding of water related projects
Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to communicate your ideas clearly and concisely
Self-motivated, self-teaching, initiator
Engineer In Training (EIT) Certification, or the ability to obtain within 12 months of hire
This position requires in-person activities which will require the successful candidate to live within a commutable distance from our East Belleview or Loveland offices. It is required you live locally within the metropolitan Denver/Loveland areas or plan to relocate yourself. This position does not provide relocation
Preferred
Experience with various software programs, which may include Microsoft Office Suite, ArcGIS, and AutoCAD (Civil 3D) or MicroStation
Experience with various water-related software programs
Desire to obtain your Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure within the next 5 years
