Responsibilities
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the overall construction and project management teams
Develop processes and procedures to ensure successful, end-to-end project execution
Directly oversee Construction Supervisors, Managers, and Project Managers to ensure projects are built to design, on budget, safely, with quality, and on schedule
Assist in resolving disputes on all projects, including negotiating to successfully settle construction-related issues
Partner with OFS support teams and back-office staff to ensure full compliance with internal and external reporting deadlines and financial requirements
Prepare weekly revenue and cost reports
Manage material, equipment, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules with accuracy and accountability
Prioritize projects based on customer needs, escalations, resource requirements, and workforce allocation
Evaluate employee performance, assign work, support retention, define career paths, and develop your team’s technical and industry skill set—especially within telecom construction
Interface with customers, vendors, and subcontractors while identifying opportunities for market growth and long-term sustainability
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with SSO, MVI, TRIR, and DART metrics
Qualification
Required
Strong experience in telecom wireline underground construction, including Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) buildouts
Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in telecom wireline, underground construction, and FTTH environments
Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn custom software systems
Understand basic accounting principles and how they apply to operational performance
