The University of Utah Health is seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist to join their team at Primary Children’s Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. The role involves establishing an outpatient clinic program and providing care for children with congenital and acquired heart diseases, with responsibilities in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Responsibilities

Providing care for newborns, infants, and children with congenital and acquired heart diseases, in outpatient settings initially and inpatient settings upon completion of the Primary Children’s Hospital Las Vegas

Outpatient responsibilities include general cardiology clinics and possibly subspecialty clinics based on the incumbents training

Ability to perform fetal echocardiograms will be prioritized

Overnight call responsibilities are expected and divided among Las Vegas division faculty

Inpatient responsibilities will occur within Primary Children’s Hospital – Las Vegas upon completion of the hospital

Demonstrated leadership and excellent communication skills are required for this position

Consulting responsibilities on additional units including the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit will be required

Academic productivity in quality improvement, research, teaching, and advocacy is expected and supported by the Division
