The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data management, data engineering, and analytics, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure data solutions that support business objectives.

Responsibilities
Define and implement data governance, policies, and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance
Design and oversee the implementation of scalable and robust data architectures, including data lakes, warehouses, and pipelines
Lead the development, optimization, and maintenance of ETL/ELT processes to ensure efficient data ingestion, transformation, and storage
Work closely with data analysts and scientists to support analytics initiatives, ensuring accurate and timely data availability
Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to understand data needs and provide strategic solutions
Evaluate and recommend modern data technologies, tools, and frameworks to optimize data workflows
Mentor and lead a team of data engineers, analysts, and scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience in data engineering, data management, or a related role
Expertise in SQL, NoSQL databases, and big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related data services
Strong understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery), and data modeling
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
Experience with data governance, security, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Experience in PostgreSQL and Data Modelling
