OCHE Intern
The University of Utah Financial Services is seeking an OCHE Intern to work with the Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education. The primary responsibility of this position is to update Utah Board of Higher Education policies and corresponding administrative rules, ensuring alignment with current legal and regulatory citations.

The primary responsibility of this position is to work with the Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education to update Utah Board of Higher Education policies and corresponding administrative rules, ensuring alignment with current legal and regulatory citations. This position requires a highly detail-oriented individual with demonstrated experience in policy/technical writing and legal experience
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required
Experience in legal research, policy writing, technical writing, or paralegal work is highly valued
Detail oriented
Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to update citations in a large body of complex policies quickly and accurately
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
Current enrollment in an accredited law school or graduate-level coursework or experience in a related field is preferred
Current enrollment in an accredited law school or paralegal training
Additional graduate-level coursework or experience in a related field is also desirable
