Amazon is launching the LEO initiative to enhance global broadband access through a satellite constellation. The Antenna Systems Engineer will be responsible for the integration, simulation, and testing of advanced space-borne phased array systems.

Responsibilities

Measure, validate, and perform root cause analysis on phased array systems and sub-systems

Interface with standard RF equipment to enable automation and efficient data collection

Create and/or modify new software features to enable testing of standard phased array system metrics such as EIRP, EVM, and G/T

Act as a liaison with the Leo software team to drive new product requirements based on RF system test needs

Perform end-to-end modeling, simulation, and analysis of digital phased array systems

Required

5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

3+ years of deploying and operating in a Linux/Unix environment experience

Experience with RF lab equipment including VNA, power meters, spectrum analyzers, vector signal generators

Experience with Hardware/Software system bring up and debugging

BS in Electrical Engineering with relevant coursework in digital communication theory, digital signal processing, RF/Microwave Engineering, Antennas and Electromagnetic theory
