Vascular Surgeon - Assistant, Associate, or Professor/Track DOQ
The University of Utah is seeking a full-time board certified/eligible Vascular Surgeon to join their Division of Vascular Surgery beginning in Spring/Summer 2026. The role involves providing patient care, teaching vascular surgery fellows, residents, and medical students, and engaging in clinical trials and research.

Responsibilities
Provide care at University Hospital and affiliated Primary Children’s Hospital and Huntsman Cancer Institute
Engage in teaching of vascular surgery fellows, residents, and medical students
Participate in clinical trials, health services/outcomes research, and translational investigation
Build a clinical practice component focusing on limb salvage procedures or deep/superficial venous interventions
Qualification
Required
Full-time board certified/eligible Vascular Surgeon
Experience in all aspects of vascular surgery, including both open and endovascular surgery
Experience in limb salvage procedures or deep/superficial venous interventions
Personal interest in building a clinical practice component
Involvement in teaching of vascular surgery fellows, residents, and medical students
Passion for pursuing academic vascular surgery
Ability to participate in clinical trials, health services/outcomes research, global surgery research, and translational investigation
Strong working relationship with major device companies
Participation in multiple Vascular Quality Initiative procedure registries
