Pediatric Pathology Assistant, Associate or Full Professor
The University of Utah is seeking a pathologist specialized in pediatric pathology to join its Department of Pathology. The role involves diagnosis, teaching, and clinical research, with opportunities to lead efforts in GI and liver pathology, among other areas.

Responsibilities
Balance recent growth and retirements in the department
Lead diagnostic and translational research efforts in GI and liver pathology
Take clinical call (pathology and laboratory) on a rotating basis
Mentor and develop expertise in surgical/oncologic, perinatal/autopsy, laboratory/transfusion medicine areas
Qualification
Required
Candidates must be certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology or equivalent
Candidates must be eligible for certification in Pediatric Pathology or have equivalent training/experience
Candidates must also be eligible for medical licensure in Utah
Preferred
Applicants with an interest in GI and liver pathology are particularly encouraged to apply
Opportunities and mentoring to develop other areas of expertise (surgical/oncologic, perinatal/autopsy, laboratory/ transfusion medicine) are also available
