Construction

Responsibilities

Installation of traffic signal poles, cabinets, and heads
Wiring of lighting and traffic signal cabinets
Performs routine and emergency repair of traffic signals on site
Troubleshooting of traffic signal systems
Installs and maintains traffic signal systems
Installs underground traffic signal cable and street lighting cable installation
Ability to maintain composure in emergency situations
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, cities, and public
Ability to lead crew members to the tasks at hand
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Ability to work near heavy traffic
Ability to work in heights up to 50’
High attention to safety and proper PPE
