Responsibilities

Provide technical support to clients, respond to their request promptly and resolve network issues
Maintains in-depth up-to-date knowledge of standards, guidelines, industry trends, etc., for the Networking discipline, including LAN, WAN, Wireless, interconnection
Plans, designs, configures, and installs network hardware in support of customer requirements
Creates and ensures that appropriate network documentation exists, including operational instructions
Provides regular monitoring and network analysis regarding short- and long-range planning for in-house systems
Occasionally travel to other NG sites as needed
Periodically provide after-hours and weekend support
Interface regularly with customers and manage customer installation timelines and deliverables to help facilitate successful deployments

Required

Must have a minimum of 2 Years of relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree OR 0 Years of experience with a relevant Masters Degree
Must have the ability to obtain a DoD secret security clearance
Must have hands-on experience with Cisco hardware and setting up switched networks
Proficient knowledge with Cisco routers and switches
Solid understanding of TCP/IP related protocols, Dynamic Routing Protocols, Switching technologies and features
Ability to successfully solve network related problems reported by users
Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
Skilled with Microsoft Office 365 applications and Visio
Ability to work onsite 100% of the time at the Rocket Center, WV location
Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds on a regular basis
Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed
Must have a minimum of 5 Years of relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree OR 3 Years of experience with a relevant Masters Degree

Preferred

Experience in the use of network analysis tools (i.e. WireShark, Opnet, SolarWinds, etc.) is nice to have
Cisco CCNA or CCNP certifications are preferred
