HOLT Group is looking for a College Intern to work with their CAT Support team under the guidance of an experienced Shop Service Supervisor. The intern's primary purpose is to learn and develop an understanding of the overall CAT Support Service Department operation.

Responsibilities

Receive coaching, mentoring, and feedback from leadership
Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
Perform maintenance
Help install, repair, and replace mechanical and electronic components
Clean and/or lubricate machines
Examine and test equipment, components, and parts to ensure the proper functioning
Adjust, connect, or disconnect wiring, piping, tubing, and other parts, using hand or power tools
Adjust, maintain, and repair equipment and machine components
Perform welding and other NDT tasks to ensure standards are met
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Currently enrolled in a College or Technical School Welding program
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Basic computer skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Time management and organizational skills
Basic math calculations and the ability to read, write, and understand work instructions
Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
Perform maintenance
