Engineer Associate
Goodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies, and they are seeking a Mold Automation Engineer to enhance their Global Mold Engineering department. The role involves the design and technical support of tire molds, developing modeling tools, and providing support to various stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Create solid models/drawings detailing tire tread patterns and tooling to be used in the manufacture of tire molds. Leverage this experience to identify process/tool inefficiencies
Provide technical support to tire designers, mold manufacturers, and tire plants
Develop new modeling tools/technologies to improve the quality and efficiency of Global Mold Engineering. Use automation to continuously improve our processes and eliminate non-value added tasks. Evaluate AI tools for potential usage within Global Mold Engineering
Participate on teams to bring new tire products to market and resolve issues
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
Experience with C++, C#, Python or similar
Experience with HLSL, GLSL, Slang or similar
Experience with Vulkan, OpenGL, DirectX or similar
Experience with CATIA V5, CREO or similar
Experience with Teamcenter PLM or similar
Strong analytical and problem solving skills required
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills (English required)
Preferred
Understanding of computer architecture and GPU design
Familiarity with software development lifecycle and version control (Git)
Knowledge of mechanical design, tolerancing, and manufacturing processes
