Responsibilities
Lead our marketing brand, content, and creative strategy to drive awareness and growth, and support our go-to-market strategy to increase adoption
Oversee content marketing strategies based on business objectives, category focus and customer audience segments across all channels (online/offline/social)
Develop, communicate and maintain a unified brand story across all channels
Champion AI adoption across Marketing, integrating AI-powered creative, insights, and workflows into how we build brand, content, and campaigns
Lead the creative vision and execution of Smartly’s brand design ensuring every touchpoint, from campaigns to events, reflects a cohesive and high-impact visual identity that elevates perception, drives recognition, and differentiates Smartly in the market
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure that customer, vendor, employee and partnership touch points align with brand strategy and support messaging priorities
Lead and direct external agencies responsible for the development of strategy and execution of brand initiatives
Implement brand awareness/brand health measurement
Build, lead and mentor top performing teams in creative, content, and events
Manage the B2B marketing budget effectively, allocating resources for maximum impact and return on investment
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field is required
15+ years experience and a proven track record leading brand marketing and event with a B2B focus
An innovative thinker, with a track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans and output
A true brand ambassador who leads from the front
Experience in building, mentoring, and coaching a team of brand marketing & events professionals
Are a self reliant problem solver and results driven
The ability to make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs
Are a persuasive communicator with exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills
Preferred
An advanced degree is preferred
