Responsibilities
Development, administration, inspection, and correction of deficiencies of SURTASS security programs, procedures, and accounts
Training and qualifying COMSEC personnel
Verification and accountability of classified material inventory
Physical security compliance and verification
Development and verification of emergency action plans
Conducting periodic audits and inspections of all SURTASS security programs
Tracking, reporting, and assisting the SURTASS Vessels with Defense Courier Service (DCS) deliveries
Qualification
Required
Associates degree
Graduate of Navy Communications Security (COMSEC) Manager School
Three (3) years experience serving in a COMSEC Program
U.S. Citizenship
U.S. Government Security Clearance at the Top Secret / SCI level
Preferred
Five (5) years experience with personnel, information, and physical security
Experience serving as a Physical Security Manager
Experience serving as a COMSEC Manager
