Responsibilities

Practice builder role is in conjunction with lead engineer responsibilities
Execute commissioning, retro-commissioning and energy services related projects
Plan, schedule, and perform work for large projects and programs with support from our national practice
Manage staff and assistant level commissioning team to execute projects. Responsible for the quality control of their deliverables
Perform site visits to coordinate commissioning, evaluate new and existing systems, witness equipment start-up and testing
Experience producing engineering studies for energy analysis for multiple system types
Experience in LEED Energy modeling, Energy Star, & other Various Sustainable rating systems
Prepare commissioning plans, specifications, checklist, and functional test documentation
Strong verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking ability
Write responses to Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications for various clients and marketing opportunities
Ability to work individually or in a multi-discipline team
Mentor and coordinate the work of designers and other technical staff on various mechanical or multi-discipline projects
Manage and deliver tasks under minimal supervision and guidance

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (advanced degrees are a plus) or Bachelor Degree in Architectural Engineering (BSAE) required
10+ years of related experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking ability
Ability to work individually or in a multi-discipline team
Manage and deliver tasks under minimal supervision and guidance

Revit experience preferred
