Responsibilities
Implement Syensqo safety and Industrial Hygiene procedures
Conduct safety audits and inspections
Participate in safety meetings, Job Hazard Analyses, Hazard and Operability Studies, and incident investigations
Prepare equipment for safe maintenance operations
Participate in emergency response drills
Install, recondition, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical equipment
Rebuild rotating equipment to meet original standards
Familiarity with various mechanical equipment such as agitators, compressors, pumps, etc
Use industrial tools safely and effectively
Utilize diagnostic tools to resolve mechanical issues
Read and understand mechanical drawings and equipment manuals
Maintain records of maintenance activities
Prepare records in accordance with ISO 9001 and quality plant safety certification
Participate in achieving goals in safety, environmental compliance, reliability, quality, and cost control
Engage in continuous improvement initiatives
Work with engineering and operations teams
Share knowledge and best practices
Conduct in-process quality analysis
Ensure good housekeeping
Be available for overtime and emergency call-ins
Advance knowledge and skills in mechanical competencies
Qualification
Required
5+ years of maintenance experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment
Good oral and written communication skills
Basic computer skills (e.g., email, internet, CMMS)

Must be trained and physically able to use personal protective equipment
Preferred
Millwright experience is a plus
