Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain applications and services within the Microsoft ecosystem, including integrations with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Graph API, and Azure services
Build, extend, and support custom Microsoft Teams apps, including tabs, messaging extensions, and bots built on the Bot Framework SDK
Integrate and orchestrate data across Microsoft 365 services using Graph API, ensuring secure authentication and permission handling via Azure AD
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, following modern engineering best practices and adhering to robust security and compliance standards
Implement automated testing pipelines (unit, integration, and E2E) and contribute to high reliability and code quality standards
Collaborate with product, design, and platform teams to deliver seamless user experiences within Teams and across Microsoft 365 tools
Participate in code and architecture reviews, RFC discussions, and contribute to improving engineering excellence and scalability standards
Lead and mentor peers and junior engineers in designing cloud-native, distributed systems on Azure
Design and implement observability, monitoring, and telemetry for production services to ensure availability and performance
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the Microsoft stack, ensuring uptime and reliability of critical integrations
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of experience building production-grade services and applications
Strong hands-on experience with the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft Graph API for integrating with Microsoft 365 services
Microsoft Teams App development (custom tabs, messaging extensions, adaptive cards)
Bot Framework SDK (C#, Node.js, or Python) for intelligent conversational experiences
Deep understanding of OAuth2, Azure AD authentication, and secure API integrations
Experience with Azure Cloud
Strong knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases
Experience writing clean, testable, and maintainable code, with comprehensive unit and integration test coverage
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and production monitoring tools
Proven experience working in agile, fast-paced environments and delivering complex solutions end-to-end
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and prioritization skills in high-pressure, cross-functional teams
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
Preferred
Experience with building chat bots with Twilio, Teams, Slack, WhatsApp, etc
Familiarity with AWS or Azure Cloud Services (SQS, RDS, EKS, MSK, Redis, etc.)
Expertise in modern web frameworks and programming languages; our current stack includes: PHP (Laravel), TypeScript (NodeJS, React)
Exposure to LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and experience integrating AI features into applications
