Responsibilities
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management
Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients
The intern will develop a good understanding of OCC support and basics Submarine fundamentals
Familiarization and utilization of various web-based tools; SAP, Microsoft office applications, logistic support, etc
Basic understanding of AWP integration, NNS planning, and material tracking
Collaboration/Coordination with members of the team to resolve problems and meeting mission requirements
Monitoring Vendor(s) cost/performance to schedule and contracts
Develop and understanding of SUBSAFE processes pertaining to Reentry Certifications (REC) tracking and problem resolutions
Qualification
Required
Active-Duty Military ONLY within final 180 days of active-duty service
Transitioning Military candidates can begin applying within final 12 months of military service
