Responsibilities
Responsible for the managing, planning, directing, and coordinating activities involved in the analysis, design, and development of education and training products related to USARPAC Leader Development
Oversee the development and delivery of training for civilian, enlisted, noncommissioned, warrant officer, and officer with special emphasis on developing and fostering Theater Army specific professional development instruction
Review policies and regulations from higher echelons which affect center responsibilities and ensure implementation with various organizational elements
Attend conferences and meetings regarding future planning of Leadership Development courses, training development and management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) that included or was supplemented by major study in education or in a subject-matter field appropriate to the position, such as Business Administration, Organizational Development, etc
Courses equivalent to a major in education, or in a subject-matter field appropriate to the position, such as Business Administration, Organizational Development, etc., plus appropriate experience or additional course work that provided knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the four-year course of study
One year of specialized experience which includes planning and overseeing military/civilian leadership development programs, Professional Military Education (PME) program, functions and activities; and performing analytical assignments and studies to evaluate the effectiveness of PME quota management and leader development initiatives utilizing systems of record
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12)

Travel and transportation expenses may be authorized in accordance with applicable travel regulations; Defense National Relocation Program (DNRP) is not authorized.
Permanent Change of Station (PCS) allowances may be authorized, subject to the provisions of the Joint Travel Regulations and an agency determination that a PCS move is in the Government Interest.
Recruitment, Relocation, and Retention incentives may be authorized.
