Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, repair, and inspection of Scout’s off-road unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) and support equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
Maintain and service suspension, drivetrains, braking systems, and powertrains
Fabricate, weld, and modify parts as required
Support engineers and operators during field tests, providing rapid maintenance and repair in operational environments
Safely transport, stage, and recover vehicles in diverse terrain and weather conditions
Stay current with vehicle system updates, parts requirements, and technical manuals
Enforce safe maintenance practices and adhere to operational and safety standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure vehicles are prepared for demonstrations, deployments, and field trials

Required

Proven hands-on experience as a mechanic, technician, or maintainer of off-road vehicles
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and drivetrain systems
Ability to perform diagnostics, field-level maintenance, and complex repairs
Experience with fabrication, welding, machining, and modification of vehicle components
Familiarity with electrical wiring, sensors, and control systems
Comfortable working outdoors
Commitment to safety standards and preventative maintenance practices
Physical ability to lift, transport, and recover vehicles and components as required
Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
