Responsibilities

Perform technical and analytical duties to ensure that donors experience high quality interactions with Sonoma State that encourage long-term engagement and investment in the university
Support the implementation of year-round annual giving programs that include electronic and print media, donor recognition and stewardship, on-going communications and continued cultivation of current, lapsed and newly identified donor prospects to enhance their relationship with the university and to increase the likelihood of continued contributions
Coordinate the parent and family programs from a donor perspective and collaborate with campus partners to ensure its success
Integrate with all levels inside and outside the university, and may include dealing with sensitive and confidential information and situations

Required

Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field
Two years of experience in marketing, fundraising or a related field
Ability to perform specialized functions involving the analysis, interpretation, integration, compilation, application, and presentation of complex data and information
Ability to provide a high-level of customer service to various internal and external audiences
Excellent foundation of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation

Preferred

Advanced proficiency using computers, Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database software
Knowledge of Google Suite and PeopleSoft
Preferred experience or working knowledge with Raiser's Edge NXT, Anthology, or similar related databases
