Responsibilities
You will develop high-quality technical documentation, including user documentation, API documentation, release notes, and troubleshooting topics, reporting to the VP, Product Management, Platform Services & Monitor
You will work with different teams to gather information and ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation
You will translate complex technical concepts into clear, and accessible content for a range of audiences, including developers, system administrators, and security professionals
You will participate in product planning and design discussions to advocate for documentation best practices and ensure documentation requirements are considered early in the development process
You will improve documentation processes to refine content creation, review, and publication workflows
You will stay informed about industry trends and best practices in technical writing, documentation tools, and information architecture
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technical Communication, English, or related field
5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the software industry
Proficiency in documentation tools such as Markdown and version control systems (GitHub)
Experience with the docs-as-code workflow
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (such as GCP, AWS, and Azure) and containerization technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes)
Ability to use AI/ML tools
Proven ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them to diverse audiences
Strong problem-solving skills to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into user-friendly documentation
Preferred
Familiarity with CSS and Python scripting would be a plus
