Responsibilities

SME in one or more areas including but not limited to Reinsurance, Reserving, and Forecasting

Designs and conducts retrospective reserve adequacy studies

Maintains and updates existing models, tools, and other files used for analysis

Prepares reserving, forecasting, rate filings, pricing analysis, and experience reports for review

Completes ad hoc reporting, as necessary

Completes appropriate and complex database work, as necessary

Duties are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity

Develops complex actuarial models

Assists with the completion of rate filing documents for all states

Researches rate filings, as needed

Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required

4 years' relevant experience

Bachelor's Degree in Math, Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics, Accounting, Computer Information Systems, other quantitative field, or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college)

Must have passed Four+ Actuarial Exams
