The role involves administering ionizing radiation to treat diseases, interpreting and delivering treatments according to patient plans, and working with advanced radiation therapy technology.
Responsibilities
Administer ionizing radiation to treat diseases under established protocols
Interpret and deliver treatments according to patient plans
Apply knowledge of anatomy, oncology, radiobiology, radiation physics, and safety
Work with advanced radiation therapy delivery and imaging systems
Maintain a compassionate, patient-focused approach
Qualification
Required
Completion of an accredited radiation therapy training program
R.T. (T) certification and maintenance of certification
Skills in Breath Hold, SRS, SBRT, Superficial, and HDR techniques required
Must be eligible to work in the US (no visa sponsorship available)
Preferred
Experience in Radiation Oncology preferred, but all levels considered
Mosaiq knowledge preferred; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
