Responsibilities

Work On Site to help solve problems that occur during construction
Work within Vista to manage costs reports
Maintain thorough understanding of the contract with the Owner
Monitor and report project schedule and cost progress
Field work: Assist engineers and superintendents with work plans
Review and approve project invoices and subcontractor payables
Document control such as change and claim management
Subcontractor management and development of subcontracts
Material procurement including purchase orders

Qualification

Heavy civil constructionCaltrans bridge experienceProject managementCost managementSubcontractor managementTeam managementProblem solvingMotivational skills

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Construction Management or Engineering
10 - 15 Years or more of Experience in highway civil or structures construction projects in California
Experienced dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors and self-perform work
Excellent organizational, team management, problem solving, motivational skills

Preferred

Knowledge of Caltrans Standard plans and specifications
Caltrans bridge experience
