Responsibilities
Define and drive Deluxe’s enterprise architecture strategy—aligning cloud, data, and application architectures with business needs across localization and fulfillment workflows
Establish and enforce architecture standards and design principles to ensure scalability, interoperability, and reliability across systems spanning content ingestion, transformation, quality control, and delivery
Lead modernization initiatives to evolve legacy systems into flexible, cloud-native platforms that support automation, AI/ML, and global scalability
Oversee architectural governance across distributed teams and services—ensuring design consistency, cost efficiency, and compliance with security and data protection standards
Mentor and develop architects and senior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence
Partner with Product and Engineering to establish technical roadmaps, ensuring architecture supports rapid innovation while maintaining operational excellence
Qualification
Required
15+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture, with 4+ years in technical leadership roles
Proven success leading enterprise-scale software architecture for distributed, mission-critical systems—ideally within media, entertainment, or digital supply chain domains
Strong expertise in cloud-native design (AWS preferred), microservices, event-driven architecture, and data-driven workflows
Experience integrating AI/ML pipelines, media processing frameworks, or workflow automation systems at scale
Exceptional ability to translate complex business requirements into cohesive architectural blueprints and actionable execution plans
Proven leadership influencing cross-functional teams, balancing long-term technical vision with pragmatic delivery
Preferred
Leadership in a global media technology organization, engaging with engineers across the globe
Familiarity with media supply chain standards (e.g., IMF, HDR, Dolby Vision, adaptive streaming, localization metadata)
Experience with content security, digital rights management (DRM), and compliance frameworks
Hands-on understanding of workflow automation, content versioning, and metadata-driven delivery systems
