They are currently seeking a Construction Consultant Intern to perform detailed analysis of construction claims and develop claims and expert reports under the direction of Managing Consultants.

Responsibilities

Works directly with attorneys and clients to foster relationships, understand and perform schedule and cost analysis, and issue resolution

Contract interpretation on scope, notice, schedule, delay, change order, and claim development requirements

Writing professional reports to be reviewed by the Managing Consultant

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, Accounting or Finance; or working towards your Bachelor's degree

Strong organizational skills and attitude to deliver results

Outstanding oral and written communication skills and able to interact effectively with technical and non-technical people

Mathematically and technologically inclined with the ability to adapt to new environments or scenarios quickly

Ability to work remotely or while traveling to different job sites

This position requires that you have the physical ability to perform all of the following functions: Climb ladders, walk on roofs, enter and work in confined spaces, work outdoors in hot or cold weather, lift up to 50 pounds, use necessary safety equipment

perform duties that may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, or squatting for prolonged periods of time

Employee may be required to travel for business purposes

The ability to sit at a desk up to 80% of the time

The ability to stand and walk up to 20% of the time

The ability to be confined in a small area, such as a cubicle

The ability to operate phones and computers
