Substation Steel Structural Designer

They are seeking a talented Substation Steel Structural Designer to contribute to the future of U.S. energy production by creating detailed models and drawings while managing projects independently.

Responsibilities
Review and interpret specifications, drawings, and project scope
Independently create models, connections, and shop drawings while adhering to project schedules
Ensure accuracy and timely completion of detailing tasks as per project requirements
Develop detailed shop and erection drawings using Autodesk Inventor
Manage assigned projects with minimal supervision
Maintain high detailing accuracy and accountability
Qualification
Required
Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Steel Detailer/Designer
Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (or similar) is required
Experience with Vault
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
Preferred
Autodesk Inventor: 5 years (preferred)
Checker role using Autodesk Inventor: 1 year (preferred)
Previous experience as a Checker is an asset
Other equivalent software experience is an asset
