Staffing Coordinator, Part-time, Day Shift 5am-5:30pm (On-site)

Responsibilities

Enters staff in computerized staffing system
Calls in nursing staff when additional staffing is needed
Reviews reports and calls off nursing staff when over-scheduled
Obtains copies of certifications, and other documents as necessary for registry and contract staff
Monitors per-diem and contract employees sign-in sheets for accuracy and completion
Tracks/maintains/processes all reverse billing for registry/contract staff
Establishes effective working relationships with cross-functional team(s)

Required

High School diploma or equivalent required
One (1) year of experience in a healthcare facility
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Demonstrates professional and courteous phone manners
Has a good working relationship within the department, with the Nurse Managers and other departments
Ability to use software applications and operate technological devices (e.g., computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.)
