Responsibilities
Get an insider view of the fast-changing grocery retail industry while developing relevant business, technical and leadership skills geared towards enhancing your career
Help drive business results in an environment designed to promote and reward diversity, innovation and leadership
Work on projects in Finance, FP&A and Accounting focusing on strategic decision-making, budgeting, forecasting, investment analysis, and risk management while ensuring the company's growth and profitability
Record and report financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Prepare financial statements and oversee internal controls
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and be available from July 13, through December 4, 2025
Working towards a degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business
Basic Accounting Principles (e.g. - Financial, Managerial and Operational accounting)
Proficient in Excel (e.g. - VLOOKUP, If Statements, Pivot Tables, etc.)
Basic understanding of valuation principles
Quantitative Skills (e.g. - work with large datasets and perform basic/intermediate calculations)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team player and highly collaborative
Preferred
Impairment testing understanding a plus
ESG (Environmental Social Governance) Accounting framework understanding a plus
