Responsibilities
Supervise and lead a team of machinists in daily operations, providing guidance and support
Oversee the setup and operation of various machining equipment including lathes, milling machines, and presses
Ensure adherence to GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards throughout the machining process
Conduct regular quality control inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure product specifications are met
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop efficient assembly line processes
Train staff on proper machining techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation
Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions as necessary
Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report on performance to upper management
Qualification
Required

Strong understanding of quality control processes and methodologies
Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Ability to fabricate parts from raw materials according to specifications
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
Knowledge of safety regulations related to machining operations
US CITIZEN or Green Card holder/PERMANENT RESIDENT is a requirement
Preferred
Experience with Fanuc programming for CNC machines is highly desirable
