Director, Business Development

Family & Nursing Care is an award-winning home care company seeking a strategic and hands-on sales leader. The Director of Business Development will lead and mentor a team of Business Development Managers to exceed regional referral goals and develop strong referral relationships across multiple territories.

Responsibilities

Leading and mentoring a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) to exceed regional referral goals across multiple territories
Supporting the team in identifying and developing referral sources, executing effective sales strategies, and continuously growing their skills
Spending much of your time in the field, providing hands-on coaching and guidance, conducting regular territory visits, and helping the team prioritize high-impact opportunities
Collaborating with leadership to expand into new markets and identify strategies that align with business growth
Developing and maintaining strong referral relationships, tracking and managing performance through a CRM, and ensuring each team member has the tools, training, and support they need to thrive
Leading team check-ins, guiding sales planning and forecasting, and helping drive accountability while fostering professional development
Contributing directly to new business development in key areas and representing the organization at events and community engagements
Working closely with the VP of Business Development to track metrics, refine strategies, and stay informed on industry trends

Required

Strategic and hands-on sales leader experience
Experience in developing talent and building strong partnerships

Ability to exceed regional referral goals across multiple territories
Experience in identifying and developing referral sources
Ability to execute effective sales strategies
Experience in coaching and providing guidance in the field
Experience conducting regular territory visits
Ability to prioritize high-impact opportunities
Experience collaborating with leadership to expand into new markets
