Responsibilities
As a DevOps Engineer on Swordfish’s Data Management you’ll join a team that enables rapid development and delivery of software applications across a CI/CD pipeline and into production
As the DevOps Engineer for this program, you will influence, implement, and maintain the technologies and solutions in this area as a team member embedded into the program’s agile business rhythm
Qualification
Required
Level 3/Principal: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience; or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of experience
Level 4/Sr. Principal: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 8 years of related experience; or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years experience
Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance at the time of application
Ability and willingness to travel 10% to support business needs
Experience with containerization and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
Experience with automated testing and software development pipelines/factories
Experience deploying applications in a containerized environment
Experience with Software Change Control, Change Management, Code Quality, Static Analysis, and CI/CD tools such as: Atlassian tool suite, Jira, GitHub, GitLab, SonarQube, Coverity, and Jenkins
Experience with Unix/Linux Operating System
Preferred
Highly experienced with Linux scripting and operations
Experience with automated software testing and analysis
Experience with data management systems and processes
Prior polygraph
